The IRIOSH Research Series serves as a platform for scholarly publication, research dissemination, international knowledge exchange, and collaborative initiatives in occupational safety and health, worker well-being, public health, and related fields.
Current Initiatives
(1) International Edited Book — Psychosocial Well-Being at Work: Global Insights, Local Action IRIOSH is currently coordinating the development and publication of the international edited book Psychosocial Well-Being at Work: Global Insights, Local Action, bringing together scholarly contributions and professional perspectives from authors across different countries and regions. The publication forms part of IRIOSH's continuing commitment to advancing research, knowledge exchange, and evidence-informed approaches to safer, healthier, and more dignified workplaces.
(2) IRIOSH Global Occupational Safety, Health & Worker Well-Being Summit 2026 — Singapore IRIOSH is advancing preparations for the IRIOSH Global Occupational Safety, Health & Worker Well-Being Summit 2026, to be held on November 11, 2026, at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore. The Summit will bring together researchers, practitioners, regulators, academics, industry representatives, and international collaborators for scientific presentations, professional dialogue, and international knowledge exchange.
(2.1) Singapore 2026 Conference Proceedings, Abstracts & Poster Presentations The IRIOSH Research Series will support the scholarly dissemination of contributions arising from the Singapore Summit through the publication of Conference Proceedings and scholarly materials associated with accepted abstracts, oral presentations, and poster presentations, subject to applicable editorial, review, and publication requirements. These outputs will help document, preserve, and extend the research, professional perspectives, and knowledge shared during the Summit beyond the event itself.
Together, these initiatives connect research, scholarly publication, scientific presentation, international collaboration, and professional practice, strengthening opportunities for knowledge generated through IRIOSH initiatives to be documented, disseminated, and made accessible to the wider occupational safety, health, worker well-being, and public health communities.
Across these initiatives, IRIOSH promotes a prevention-oriented approach consistent with the principles of Vision Zero—advancing the shared goal of preventing occupational fatalities, serious injuries, occupational diseases, and other forms of work-related harm through leadership, evidence, knowledge exchange, collaboration, and a strong culture of prevention.

The International Research Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IRIOSH), Canada, successfully concluded the IRIOSH Global Occupational Safety and Health Webinar 2026 on September 21, 2026 (Malaysia Time), bringing together participants and perspectives from across the global occupational safety and health community.
Held under the theme “Occupational Safety and Health as a Global Concern: The Way Forward — A Canadian Perspective,” the webinar promoted international dialogue, knowledge exchange, prevention, worker well-being, and the principles of Vision Zero, reinforcing the shared goal of preventing work-related fatalities, injuries, and occupational harm and advancing safer, healthier, and more dignified workplaces worldwide.
The International Research Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IRIOSH), a Canadian federally incorporated not-for-profit initiative based in Saskatchewan, successfully concluded the IRIOSH Global Occupational Safety and Health Forum 2026, bringing together nearly 200 participants from 12 countries in an international virtual dialogue focused on psychosocial well-being, workplace safety, research collaboration, and sustainable communities.
Hosted virtually from Saskatchewan, Canada, the forum welcomed university professors, research scientists, doctoral scholars, occupational safety and health regulators, public sector professionals, workplace safety practitioners, collaborators, and community leaders from multiple international regions and communities including Canada, Australia, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and other global communities. There were 400+ registrants showing interests from 17 countries or regions.
